About Us

Westwood Farm Community Pre-School officially started at Purley Memorial Hall in September 1965. In 1975 we moved to our current premises at Westwood Farm Community Centre.

The pre-school is run by a voluntary management committee made up of parents and members of the local community, and serves children from the  surrounding area.

We are registered to care for 26 children aged 3-5 years. Currently there are over 40 children on our register, all of whom receive government funding for nursery education.

Children can attend a variety of  morning or afternoon sessions. They can attend whole days through attending our supplementary Lunch Club, which runs between the morning and afternoon sessions and is paid for by parents on a termly basis.

Our pre-school is able to support children with learning difficulties anddisabilities, and children who speak English as an additional language.
